Sundays | 6:00-8:00pm | Gym Entrance
On most Sunday nights from September through June, Youth Group meets from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for students in grades 6 – 12. A typical night consists of hanging out, snacks, games, worship time, and large group discussions on a topic suggested by students. Discussions emphasize relevance to teens and real-world application, all while being based on what the Bible has to say. For Winter/Spring 2020 we are discussing what evangelism looks like for teenagers in this day and age.
Sundays | 11:15-12:15pm
We offer Sunday School classes for 6th Grade, 7th & 8th Grade, and High School (grades 9-12). Classes are where students can grow in their knowledge of God, His Word, and in their relationships with Him. All classes meet September through early June.
The 6th Grade and 7th & 8th Grade Classes are in a three-year course which looks at God’s covenant with His people as the unifying theme of the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. Students will discover God’s unfolding plan to save His people, the fulfillment of that plan in the work of Jesus Christ, and the way the Holy Spirit worked then and now in the lives of God’s people. The curriculum used in these classes is from Great Commission Publications.
The High School Class is in a four-year cycle to help them grow in their relationships with Jesus and knowledge of His Word. They are currently discussing the “pressure points” all students face in high school and beyond using a curriculum called Pressure Points: A Guide to Navigating Student Stress by New Growth Press.
In addition to the above, we also go on mission trips, participate in service opportunities, and have many fun special events! To join our mailing list, please email our Associate Pastor, Neil Murphy, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
