Sundays | 11:30-12:30pm
We offer Sunday School classes for Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12). Classes meet September through early June.
The Middle School class is in a three-year course which studies God’s covenant with His people as the unifying theme of the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. The purpose of this curriculum is so students will discover God’s unfolding plan to save His people, the fulfillment of that plan in the work of Jesus Christ, and the way the Holy Spirit worked then and works now in the lives of God’s people. The curriculum they are using is published by Great Commission Publications.
The High School class is in a four-year cycle to help them grow in their relationships with Jesus, grow in their knowledge of His Word, and grow in the knowledge of His people. They are studying church history and world religions this year. Christian History Made Easyby Timothy Paul Jones is the curriculum used for the church history portion of the year, and So What’s The Difference by Fritz Ridenour is the curriculum used for the world religions portion.
Sundays | 6:00 – 8:00pm | Gym Entrance
During the school year, Youth Group meets on Sunday nights from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for students in grades 6 - 12 (September through June). A typical night of youth group consists of singing, a lesson from the Bible, games, and small group time.
The Hartford Project (THP) is an urban ministry immersion experience for teenagers in New England. Church youth groups are invited to come and live in Hartford, CT for four days in the summer. During this week they will serve the community, learn about poverty, experience racial reconciliation, and build relationships with the wider body of Christ.
Students in grades 6-12 are welcome. We will also need a female leader to attend. Please prayerfully consider serving with us! Stay tuned for summer 2020 outreach dates.
