Children’s Ministry (for ages K-5) has been through a metamorphosis during our break! Read on to learn about our programs for Children K-5.
Children's Church is now called, “Kids Worship,” using a curriculum called “KidsOwnWorship,” by Group. The format mimics adult worship services, only at a child’s level. This will occur all Sundays except communion Sundays, when children will worship with their parents.
Our Sunday School classes are now called “TruthSeekers.” The curriculum is from Truth:78 (based on Psalm 78). This curriculum assists parents in providing firm foundational truths that kids can sink their teeth into. This class will also run every Sunday except communion Sunday. On that day, the kids will build relationships with a supervised “hang-out” time.
In between Kids Worship and TruthSeekers, children will be provided with a healthy snack, or you may send your own. We will be available for check in to room 100 at 9:15, and ask that you check out no later than 10 min after TruthSeekers.
For COVID precautions, we are asking you to RSVP each week (similar to how we RSVP for Worship Service - an invitation will be sent out), send your child with a mask, and remind them about social distancing. Please review your local school district wellness lists to make sure your child is well before drop-off. Above all else, pray! Your child’s spiritual growth is the most important job you will ever have. We are honored to come beside you to “train up a child in the way he should go”.

Nursery and Toddler Childcare
At Immanuel Church we seek to minister to both parents and children by first providing quality childcare during worship services and Bible teaching classes; and second working to lay a spiritual foundation for their faith in Christ.

Vacation Bible School - stay tuned for the summer VBS date.
AWANA is a children's club program designed for outreach through fun and fellowship. It is centered around a systematic Bible memorization program.
AWANA is typically held on Tuesday evenings at 6:15 p.m.(September through May) for ages 3 through Grade 12. There will not be a Fall 2020 thru Spring 2021 program. We anticipate starting back in the Fall of 2021. If you have any questions, please contact: Stacey Pitre at email@example.com
Philosophy of Children's Ministry
Children's Ministries at Immanuel Church desires that each child be viewed as valuable and precious in God's sight. As we partner with parents, we seek to nurture each child spiritually and emotionally through the programs we provide. Thus, we seek to bring each child to a personal relationship with God, to build their knowledge of God, to nurture their relationship with God and to equip them to serve Him in their family, church, school, and community with the gifts and abilities that God gives them.
